Matt Walters in solid ASBK performance
Matt Walters – 2021 ASBK Round 2
The previous Iron-Man winner, Matt Walters, put in a solid performance at Rd 2 of the Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) at Winton Raceway in Victoria.
Onboard the Ninja ZX-10RR, the lead-in for the team has seen minimal testing time due to work commitments and Covid-19 restrictions. The longtime Kawasaki Motors Australia-supported rider qualified in 14th position and then went on to deliver 12-11 finishes across Sunday's proceedings for 11th overall at Winton.
Matt and the team are looking forward to Rd 3 at Wakefield Park Raceway in April.
