EMPIRE KAWASAKI TEAM REFRESHED AHEAD OF QMP'S PENULTIMATE PROMX ROUND

Empire Kawasaki is fresh and ready for battle at the seventh round of the 2023 ProMX Championship at Queensland Moto Park (QMP), with MX2 charger Haruki Yokoyama, MX3 contender Cambell Williams and returning MXW racer Taylah McCutcheon set to take to the gate on Sunday.

After a seven-week break in the series, Yokoyama is fired up to build on his consistent P8 overall last time out and commence the final stint of the 2023 motocross season on a high.

KX250-mounted Williams is right in the hunt for a top three championship finish in the competitive MX3 category, with QMP this Sunday providing another opportunity for him to feature on the podium.

The MXW class returns to action in Queensland, and with that McCutcheon will make her anticipated comeback from a broken wrist sustained earlier in the year.

“With nearly two months since the last round of ProMX, we are fired up and ready to return to the national stage,” said Empire Kawasaki team owner Tyson Cherry. “Haruki was consistently inside the top eight last time out, which provides a platform to push towards the top five in these final races.

“Cambell is right in contention for a MX3 championship podium position and we will look forward to supporting him fully as we aim to achieve this in the last two rounds. For Taylah, we are excited to have her back on the bike at ProMX and her determination through the injuries this year has been admirable.”

The penultimate round of the 2023 Australian ProMX Championship takes place at Queensland Moto Park, this Sunday, 13 August, with bikes on track from 7:45am local time.
