On the 13th of July we attended the 5th and final round of the 2024 East Coast MX series at Lakes MX track.
The conditions were fast which made the track quite rough by the end of the day. I had loads of fun in the Junior Girls 250cc class finishing second in all 3 races and snagging 2 holeshots.
After missing the first round in Coffs Harbour, this sat me 4th in the championship just 7 points short of 3rd overall. I also raced the Junior Lites class with the boys on the day for some more track time. It turned out that this would be my last race as a Junior.
After being selected for NSW Team at the Australian Junior Motocross Championships being held in Bunbury WA in September, we just couldn’t commit to making the trip over due to school exams occurring at the same time.
With the eagerly anticipating Yellow Mountain Cross Country event quickly approaching (August 3rd and 4th), we made the decision to bump me up to Seniors for the rest of the year.
I am looking forward to riding in the women’s class for the remainder of the year, as we gather experience before the 2025 season.
