Race Report – Koby Munro | Casterton Double Header
Australian Enduro Championship & Victorian Off Road Championship
Location: Casterton, VIC
Date: 28th June- 29th June 2025
This past weekend, Koby Munro took on a huge challenge—competing in both the Australian Enduro Championship and the Victorian Off Road Championship rounds at Casterton. Across two demanding days of racing, Koby proved once again why he is a rider to watch in the junior ranks.
Saturday – Cross Country Format
Saturday’s racing saw Koby line up for the Cross Country-style event under perfect conditions on the sandy loam terrain. Wasting no time off the start, Koby grabbed the holeshot and immediately pulled away from the field. Riding with incredible pace and focus, he powered through the course, even mixing it with riders from the class above.
At the chequered flag, Koby secured a dominant 1st in class, with a commanding 40-second lead, and an impressive 3rd place outright in the Small Juniors category. A flawless ride and an excellent start to the weekend!
Sunday – Sprint Format
Sunday brought a switch to sprint format—and trickier track conditions. After the senior classes ran the course on Saturday afternoon, the terrain was rough and technical. But Koby rose to the occasion, showing maturity beyond his years and sheer grit in every timed sprint.
With consistent, blistering times, Koby stormed to 1st in class and went one better by taking 1st outright in Small Juniors. It was a clean sweep across both formats and a clear statement of intent for the rest of the season.
Track Conditions
The Casterton course featured a sandy loam base, offering good grip on Saturday but becoming rough and rutted by Sunday. The tough terrain only seemed to fuel Koby’s determination, and he handled the increasingly technical layout like a pro.

Hattah will put riders to the test with high-speed sections, deep sand whoops, and long race distances. Koby is dialed in and ready to take it on with full focus and determination.
