There was no denying the speed at round two of the 2026 Penrite ProMX Championship in Canberra for Penrite Racing Empire Kawasaki’s Dean Ferris, highlighted by the second-fastest lap in a rough and technical MX1 race two aboard the KX450. Unfortunately, untimely crashes in both motos limited his overall result to P8, leaving the capital now sitting P4 in the championship standings.
For teammate Brad West, Canberra marked a clear step forward, finishing 12th overall, with race two in particular showing strong signs of progression. West ran inside the lead group during the opening laps, holding a podium position for a period and gaining valuable experience at the front of the MX1 field.
