Joel Cigliano Battles Challenging Conditions to Secure Championship Points

Joel Cigliano put in a determined performance in difficult track conditions, overcoming setbacks to claim valuable championship points during RD 6 of the PRO MX

With the circuit left damp and challenging, Cigliano qualified 23rd after navigating the tricky conditions. Despite a less-than-ideal gate pick, he remained confident heading into the racing.

The opening moto began with a difficult start, but Cigliano quickly fought his way through the field, passing six riders in the opening laps. A mid-race tip-over cost him valuable time and positions, however he recovered to finish 21st.

In the second moto, Cigliano made a much stronger start and capitalised on his improved track position. Demonstrating solid fitness and consistent pace, he continued to make progress throughout the race to cross the line in 17th, earning valuable championship points.

Reflecting on the day, Cigliano was pleased with the performance of his machine, noting that the bike felt strong throughout the event. He also credited the team's decision to switch from a paddle tyre after qualifying as an important adjustment that paid off in the changing track conditions.

Despite the demanding conditions, Cigliano's perseverance and improved second moto result provided a positive finish to the day as he continues to build momentum in the championship.
