Penrite Racing Empire Kawasaki is excited to announce the signing of French Supercross specialist Cedric Soubeyras for the 2026 Australian Supercross Championship.
Bringing a wealth of international Supercross experience to the team, Soubeyras will join Penrite Racing Empire Kawasaki for the complete 2026 AUSX campaign, adding another proven name to the team’s championship program.
The Frenchman has spent much of his career competing at the highest levels of Supercross throughout Europe and internationally, building a reputation for his technical ability, consistency and experience in tight, demanding Supercross conditions.
Penrite Racing Empire Kawasaki Team Owner Tyson Cherry said the addition of Soubeyras is an exciting one for the team heading into the new season.
“We’re really excited to have Cedric joining us for AUSX. He brings a huge amount of Supercross experience and we know how competitive he can be in this environment.
“The 2026 championship is shaping up to be a big one and we’re looking forward to getting Cedric over here, getting to work and seeing what we can achieve together.”
Soubeyras is equally excited to make the trip to Australia and line up with the Penrite Racing Empire Kawasaki program.
“I felt really good in the championship last year, even though I was a newcomer and still learning the bike. I had a great time, and with this new opportunity, I’m really motivated. It’s going to give me an extra push during my training throughout the week.
I’ll only get on the Kawasaki a couple of days before the first race, but I already know how good this bike is, having raced it in 2024 and 2025. I’m really excited for this new challenge and can’t wait to see you all there!.”
The 2026 Australian Supercross Championship will see Penrite Racing Empire Kawasaki take on rounds across Australia and New Zealand, with Soubeyras set to make his debut with the team when the championship gets underway.
