Young team owner, Tyson Cherry, has stepped out on his own for the 2021 season and is excited to bring a fresh perspective to ProMX season.

"I am super excited to be heading into round 1 of the ProMX series at Wonthaggi this weekend, It has been a long time since we have been behind the start line. I am looking forward to seeing all our sponsors out there and our supporters. Everyone is ready to go, so we cant wait till Sunday."

The Empire Kawasaki team are bringing a strong base of collaboration and team work to the season. The Empire crew are looking sharp and ready to race on the tough opening track at Wonthaggi.

Leading the MX1 charge for Empire Kawasaki is Jayden Rykers on board the 2021 KX450. Jayden and the Empire Kawasaki team worked together through 2020 to refine the program and dial in the KX450 to suit the track and Jayden’s style in 2021.

"It feels like a long time since we last raced so it’s exciting to get the first round of the series under way this weekend in Wonthaggi Vic. The last two and half weeks I have been with the team in Melbourne.

Although I have spent a large amount of time on the KX450, this will be my first National event on it. I am looking forward to starting in same form as we showed at the MX masters in 2020."

The second rider for Empire Kawasaki on the KX250 in the MX2 class will be announced on Friday 9th April 2021.
