Kawasaki is ready to build the Empire at the ProMX Showdown in Wodonga

Jayden Rykers will line up in the MX1 class at round 3 of the ProMX on Sunday with the front runners in his sight. After an unprecedented turn of events for the Championship red plate holders since round 1, we enter round 3 with the title up for grabs,

Spectacularly, the defending champion and round two winner are out of action. The scene is now set for Wodonga to be the battleground where Jayden Rykers breaks through to join the top five.

“I have been riding hard at home in the WAMX and locked in two moto wins at the last round to get ready for ProMX,” said Rykers. “The pace in the first two ProMX rounds has been exceptionally fast, but with the changes in the riders lining up this weekend, I know I can use this round to advantage and gain some valuable points in the championship.”

The MX2 has been a tale of elite-level speed and consistent riding for the series leaders and the Empire Kawasaki KX250 riders. Haruki Yokoyama and Jai Constantinou will use round three to build on the solid points gained in the opening rounds.

“I have now had time to get a good feel for the racing in the ProMX”, reflected Yokoyama. “This track is quite tight and should suit my riding style if I get a good clean start on the KX250”.

Constantinou has been working on strengthening his starts and finding a solid set-up during a week of testing and training.

“The KX250 is so good on the open track, but I need to work on getting to that first corner quickly,” said Constantinou.

“We have the bikes dialled in, the riders are fit and focused so now is the time to step up and show the Empire riders as contenders”, stated Tyson Cherry, Empire Kawasaki Team Manager.

We look forward to standing on the podium and thanking all our sponsors and supporters. They have been a part of building Empire Kawasaki over the past years, and it is time to bring it all together”.
