Empire Motorsports is hopeful of making it to the podium at the inaugural round of the GNCC Australia series.
The team will be fielding two riders at the event in Coonalpyn, South Australia. Will Price will be racing in XC2, and Beau Ralston in the XC1 classes.
Team Manager Stelios Liakopoulos seemed confident in the pairing, despite having usual XC1 racer Matt Ryan out due to injury.
“It's awesome to see a new off-road series come to Australia with an exclusively cross-country format,” Liakopoulos said.
“Will is hoping to keep his moment rolling on from Hattah with a podium finish as his goal for the weekend. Beau brings extensive experience in off-road racing with multiple national Podiums and wins on his resume. He is already feeling very comfortable on board the KX after a successful test two weeks ago where he mentioned that it was one of the best packages he has ridden in a very long time.”
